Two things people always ask
A carry does not shuffle the board
Everyone loses the same half, so if nobody adds anything, Monday’s ranking is identical to Sunday’s. The carry does exactly one thing, and it is the point: it roughly halves what it costs to overtake anyone. A $2,000 leader becomes catchable for $1,100 instead of $2,000. We are not promising a reshuffle that does not happen.
Whole dollars, rounded your way
Every amount here is a whole number of dollars. Bids are whole dollars, and so is what carries over: halving $5 would give $2.50, so it rounds up to $3. The rounding always goes your way, never ours.
A score stops shrinking at $1, since half of $1 rounds back up to $1, so that is where a listing ends: it goes dormant and leaves the board. A $5 entry therefore runs $5, $3, $2, then out. Four weeks on the board, with three of them as fair warning.
What you are buying
A placement. You are paying for a position on a public board, the traffic it sends, and, if you finish in the top three, a permanent entry in the Hall of Fame. That is the whole offer.
You are not buying a stake, a share of revenue, a prize, or any prospect of getting money back. There is no payout of any kind, and there never will be. Contributions are final.
Anyone may back any video. Backing a video gives you no rights over it. If you are the creator and you want your video off the board, contact us: it is removed straight away, and anything contributed to it in the previous 30 days is refunded to the people who paid.
Illegal content, and anything sexual, hateful or targeting a private individual, is removed without refund.
